Certified VOC & Chemical Analysis for Ontario Homes.

Industrial runoff, leaking fuel tanks, and agricultural chemicals can silently contaminate groundwater. If your home is near a gas station, dry cleaner, industrial park, or farmland, this might be for you.

Some Contaminants Can't Be Boiled Away.

Is Hidden Water Contamination Putting Your Budget and People at Risk?

We often worry about bacteria, but chemical pollutants pose a different kind of threat. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and industrial residues are often colorless, odorless, and tasteless until they reach dangerous levels.

Bacteria Spikes

Spring thaw and heavy rains can wash E. coli and Coliforms into cracked well casings.

Chemical Runoff

Nitrates from fertilizers are odorless but dangerous, especially to infants.

Natural Toxins

Arsenic and Lead can leach naturally from bedrock into your supply.

We Test for the Things Hardware Store Kits Miss.

A hardware store kit cannot detect complex organic chemicals. At Canadian Water Compliance, we use Accredited Environmental Laboratories capable of detecting trace contaminants at the "Parts Per Billion" level.

Regulatory Precision

We test against the strict limits of the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standards (ODWQS) and O. Reg 169/03.

Full Spectrum Capability

We don't just look for one thing. We can screen for hundreds of parameters, from organic solvents to inorganic compounds.

Clear Guidance

Chemical reports are dense. We translate the lab data into plain English: "Is it safe to drink?" and "How do I filter it out?"

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

When should I test for VOCs?

We recommend testing if you notice a chemical/fuel smell in your water, if there has been a spill nearby, or if you live near high-risk sites (gas stations, landfills, factories).

Do standard water filters remove these chemicals?

Not always. Standard water softeners do not remove chemicals. Activated Carbon and Reverse Osmosis are effective against many VOCs, but we need to identify the contaminant first to recommend the right filter.

What are "Trihalomethanes" (THMs)?

THMs are chemical by-products that can form when chlorine reacts with organic matter. If you are on a chlorinated cistern system, this is a critical test.

Is this testing part of a standard home inspection?

No. Standard home inspections usually only check for bacteria (E. coli). Chemical testing is a specialized add-on that smart buyers request for older or rural properties.
